Packers favored to nab first preseason win in Cincy
With just two weeks remaining before the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants kick off the NFL regular-season schedule, another weekly round of preseason games will serve to whet your appetite beginning with three solid matchups on Thursday night.
First up are the winless Green Bay Packers (0-2) who are currently sitting as 2.5-point road favorites as they prepare to tangle with the unbeaten Bengals (2-0) in Cincinnati.
The Packers have lost to San Diego and Cleveland in their first two preseason games, but Aaron Rodgers and company are of course considered strong contenders at 6/1 odds to win the Super Bowl.
The Bengals are currently ranked in the middle tier at 45/1 odds to win Super Bowl XLVII but they've looked impressive while posting victories over the Jets and Falcons so far this preseason.
Also Thursday night, the feisty Jacksonville Jaguars (2-0) are 7-point road dogs in Baltimore against the Ravens (1-1), and the Tennessee Titans (1-1) are listed as 3-point chalk at home to the Arizona Cardinals (1-2).
Earlier on Thursday, the PGA Tour tees up the opening event in the FedExCup Playoffs at notorious Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York, with Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy sharing the honor as co-favorites to win The Barclays at 7/1 odds.
