NBA Betting: Golden State among early road warriors
The road teams in every remaining NBA playoff series each managed to split the first two games of the conference semifinals on the road. This weekend the Bulls, Warriors, Grizzlies and Pacers will try to expand upon their new-found advantages when they host the next two games of their respective series.
Chicago won its Eastern Conference series opener in Miami earlier this week, then got blown up in Game 2 Wednesday. The teams now head up to the United Center for Games 3 and 4 Friday night (8 pm ET, ESPN) and Monday.
Golden State lost its Western Conference series opener in San Antonio earlier this week, blowing a big late lead, but bounced back to take Game 2 Wednesday night 100-91. The teams now head West for Games 3 and 4 Friday night (10:30 pm ET, ESPN) and Sunday at Oracle Arena.
As of Friday morning most NBA betting outlets were listing the Bulls as seven-point home dogs for Game 3 against the Heat, while the Warriors were favored by three points for their Game 3 over the Spurs.
Memphis lost its Western Conference semifinal series opener in Oklahoma City, then beat the Thunder in OKC 99-93 Tuesday night. Those two teams now head over to the FedExForum for Games 3 and 4 Saturday (5 pm ET, ESPN) and Monday.
And finally, Indiana won its Eastern Conference semifinals opener at the Garden, then lost Game 2 to New York Tuesday night by 26 points. Those two teams now hit the Heartland for Games 3 and 4 Saturday (8 pm ET, ABC) and Tuesday.
Also, in updated conference semifinals series betting, San Antonio was favored by -175 over Golden State (+155); New York was favored by -120 over Indiana (+100); and Memphis was now a -175 favorite over a Westbrook-less OKC (+155).
