The Chad Brown trained Dayatthespa is the 7-5 morning line favorite for Friday’s featured race at Saratoga, the $1000,000 Riskaverse, which drew a full field of ten three-year-old fillies who will go one mile on the inner turf course.
The filly is making her first start since the spring meeting at Keeneland where she won the Appalachian (G2) in her last outing.
Brown is second in the trainer’s standings at the Spa with 25 winners from his 84 starters, trailing perennial leader Todd Pletcher by six wins going into the final four days of the 40-day meeting.
