Breeders Cup Betting: Euro Invaders Look Tough in Filly & Mare Turf

The 29th Breeders’ Cup World Championship gets underway on Friday afternoon at Santa Anita Park, a ten race card that includes six of the 15 championship races.

The NBC Sports Network will be providing live coverage of the races in a four-hour telecast that gets underway at 4:00 ET.

The remaining nine Breeders’ Cup races are coming up on Saturday.

Post time for the opening race on the ten race card on Friday is 11:15am PT, and the first Breeders’ Cup race is the $500,000 Juvenile Sprint, which is the fourth race on the card with a post time of 1:06 PT.

Cardinals Look to Stop Skid vs. 49ers on MNF

This week's matchup on Monday Night Football offers up an important game out in the NFC West as the first-place San Francisco 49ers pay a visit to the second-place Arizona Cardinals (8:30 pm ET).

San Fran (5-2) began this season with wins over the Packers and Lions, then lost to the Vikings. The Niners then beat the Jets and Bills by a combined score of 79-3, but subsequently laid an egg in a 26-3 loss to the Giants.  Then last Thursday the Niners won ugly, beating the Seahawks 13-6.

Keeneland Wagering: Fayette Closes Out Fall Meeting

A field of eleven including Florida Derby (G1) winner Take Charge Indy will meet up at Keeneland on Saturday in the $150,000 Fayette (G2) going nine furlongs on the main track.

The Fayette is the final graded stake of the fall Keeneland meeting, which ends on Saturday. (Check out free horse handicapping contest on this meet).

Take Charge Indy was last seen running 19th in the Kentucky Derby (G1) back in May, with a minor injury sidelining the colt until Saturday.
